See for yourself...

Take a virtual tour around this significant little home

Ty Mawr – Birthplace of William Morgan.

This is a great example of a traditional stone-built upland 16th-century farmhouse that you can now walk through virtually.

We actually visited this National Trust property to shoot the tour in 2013 and the brief then consisted of a very simple navigation. Since bringing Plas yn Rhiw and Plas Newydd online with their multilingual support we were quickly asked to upgrade the navigation on this small property too.

A significant property

I find it fascinating getting to visit National Trust properties like this that have a story to tell. This house was the birthplace of Bishop William Morgan who was the first translator of the Bible into Welsh! As you can see from the virtual tour there is a Bible room displaying these early translations.
